As the main components of any busbar system is comprised of metals like copper, aluminium and steel plate, busbar costs and prices vary according to the current market prices of such raw materials. Therefore, there is no applicable price list. The total cost is quoted in accordance with the project scope.

Busbar systems which are duly tested, certified and manufactured according to IEC 60331-1 and BS 6387 standards incorporate specifications such as flame retardation,inflammable as well as non emission of any toxic gases in case of fire (halogen free). The KX series premium design compact busbar systems are capable of sustaining their functions for 3 hours in case of fire which generates heat around a temperature level of 830 degrees .
It is done by using a Megger insulation test instrument. Before busbar systems are put into use, they should strictly pass the insulation tests and the relevant commissioning procedures should be implemented.
This is an international criteria expressing that function integrity is ensured in case of fire. Its basic objective is to ensure that functional sustenance of vital systems in human life such a lighting, elevator and announcement systems are maintained in case of any fire. Considering that the cabling in respect of the aforesaid systems are made through and over cable carrying systems, it is seen more clearly how essential it is that the latter systems enable functional sustenance. The test therefore is carried out inside a special test oven that can be heated up in accordance with a Standard temperature time curve. Depending on maintaining and sustaining the functionality of cabling systems, E30-E90 grades are prescribed and these are mandatory for use at low voltage facilities not exceeding 1kV as standard.
